Cyndy Teas, R.N., BSN - Director of Development and Co-Founder

Cyndy is a Registered Nurse who oversees the development, fundraising and medical services of camp. During her 23 years as a pediatric nurse, she realized the challenges, change and pressures placed on a family with a chronically ill or disabled child. She is committed to seeing that people with special needs are given human dignity through the unconditional love they receive at Camp Barnabas. She says, “Camp Barnabas is the best place in the world. It has made me the person I am today and I owe a lot for all the wonderful lessons I have learned from the campers.”

Both native Texans, Cyndy and Paul have been married for 27 years and have two adult children, Kayman and Trace, and one son-in-law, Douglas.

Cyndy was recently named Nurse of the Year in a Salute to Nursing in Springfield, Missouri.
