Holiday Island Golf Tournament

Holiday Island Golf Course is the site for a 5-person scramble Saturday, July 12 to benefit Camp Barnabas. Each fivesome will be joined by a celebrity or pro from the entertainment, political or sports world. Registration begins at 7 am with shot-gun tee-off at 8 am. Lunch will be served around 1 pm.

Fayetteville Autopark will give a 2008 Hummer 3 to a hole-in-one on Hole #17. The first 150 entries will receive a Camp Barnabas t-shirt sponsored by Kerusso. Continental breakfast will be provided by Arvest Bank. There are bonus prizes for all par 3's.

Fees are $75 for non-Holiday Island property owners and $50 for property owners. Each entry fee includes greens fees, lunch, chance on the hole-in-one prize, closest to the pin, longest drive and refreshments on the course. Cart is not included. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each flight and closest to the line for men and women. Entry deadline is July 5.

Thursday evening, July 11, professional golfers from area courses will play a 9-hole exhibition of golf beginning at 4 pm and followed by a dinner on the clubhouse lawn for $5 per person.
