JENI KING

Coming to Camp Barnabas was actually a homecoming for Office Manager Jeni King. Working just miles from where her family originated, Jeni brings a sense of awareness of the community to the Camp Barnabas staff. She entered the workforce right out of high school and worked her way through different positions at a local corporation. She moved to Joplin in 2002 and became a Realtor.  When a decision was made to move back to the area, “Camp Barnabas came to me, I didn’t come to Barnabas,” she shares. “A friend interviewed for the position and called me and told me about it. It was a perfect fit for where I am in my life now, the last puzzle piece to put things together for my son and me.” When she’s not managing camper enrollments or paying camp bills, Jeni enjoys time with her four-year old son, Gavin, playing outside, cooking and watching movies together.
