LARRY TIDWELL
When Larry Tidwell joined the staff in 2001 as Maintenance Director, not even he imagined what that would mean in his life and the lives of many Barnabas staff and volunteers. “Uncle Larry,” as he is known, does much more than hammer the nails and grease the wheels that keep the physical aspects of camp going. He gently guides the spiritual growth of the summer staff and volunteers both through example and his gift for listening to the heart-cry of those seeking to walk closer to God. This passion of his, this strong desire to serve others, is what drew him to Camp Barnabas and what continues to guide his ministry here. Larry and his wife, Jonna, have two adult children, Ken and Nicole.
