Paul Teas - Executive Director and Co-Founder

Paul has enjoyed more than 16 years of Christian camping experience although he began his career as an underwater archaeologist. He and his wife, Cyndy, founded Camp Barnabas in 1995 in response to the special needs of a camper Cyndy had come to know in her position as Medical Director at Kanakuk Kamps, a sprawling conglomeration of Christian sports camps nestled in the hills surrounding Branson, Missouri. Camp Barnabas has become Paul’s life. He shares, “It is a standard I must adhere to. It is a blessing I get to share. It is a burden I am responsible for. It is a lot of work and a whole lot of fun …. Camp Barnabas is about witnessing miracles every day while standing in the middle of a whirlwind.” 

Paul serves as a true advocate for the special people of Camp Barnabas and he considers this responsibility a high honor.
