Photo/Video Use Policy
Our campers are very engaging people and some of the most heart-warming photos or videos you will ever see are those of are campers living life to the fullest. Each summer, as part of the application process, all campers, volunteers and staff sign a Media Release form that gives permission for Camp Barnabas to use their photographs and films for fund-raising, publicity, editorial, educational, promotional and advertising purposes and for the solicitation of contributions and for any other purposes in furtherance of the corporate purposes and objectives of Camp Barnabas.
This permission is solely between Camp Barnabas, its officers, employees, agents, chapters, assignees, licensees and cooperating entities. IT IS NOT between the campers and anyone, other than those specifically assigned by Camp Barnabas, who takes or shares photographs/video of our campers, volunteers or staff.
PLEASE DO NOT USE A PHOTO AND/OR VIDEO OF A CAMP BARNABAS CAMPER, VOLUNTEER OR STAFF TAKEN DURING YOUR STAY AT CAMP BARNABAS OR SHARED WITH YOU BY ANYONE WHO TOOK THE PHOTO AT CAMP BARNABAS WITHOUT FIRST NOTIFYING THE COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT OF YOUR INTENT TO USE SAID PHOTO AND/OR VIDEO.
While we cannot govern your use or non-use of these materials, we would like to share with you guidelines we have in place to protect the privacy of our campers, volunteers and staff. We do monitor all internet posting sites, such as Facebook, My Space, YouTube, GodTube, etc. for any materials posted that are connected with Camp Barnabas in any way. If you have ever been a part of summer camp here, you know and understand how special our campers, volunteers and staff are and why we work diligently to protect them and their privacy.
We appreciate your respect for this policy.
