The life of a family of a child with special needs is challenging in many ways, not the least of which is financially. Many times the disposable monthly expenses – items like catheter tubing, diapers, syringes and other medical supplies not covered by insurance – can run close to $300 per month. For these families especially, sending a child and their siblings to camp seems impossible. Over 60% of our families receive at least a partial camper sponsorship each summer. $600 will allow one camper to enjoy a fun-filled week at Camp Barnabas.
