Term 9: Adventurers Week

Young adults (Ages 16-35) who are physically disabled are invited to attend this week of camp.  Much of this program is set up to accommodate both the physical challenges and the developmental level of the campers. We respect the chronological age of this group and, with that in mind, provide a fun week of camp adapted to their special needs.  Because this is a young adult group, the camp program is changed to accommodate the desires of the young adult to have a great week at camp. Activities like the Barn-A-Bucks Café, where the campers and counselors have a latte or other favorites while they hang out, is just one example of the adapted camp program. This week is all about fun and the counselors are great friends to the campers and assist them wherever needed with dressing, bathing or any other activity where they need assistance.
