Online CIA Registration is FINALLY READY!!!
If you are attending Camp Barnabas as a member of a group, do not complete this registration. Your group leader will give you the information you need to get registered.

Please read this page of instructions very carefully before proceeding to the online application. it is also helpful to print out this information and have it handy during the registration process.

To complete the application process, you will need the following:
20 - 30 minutes to complete the online application
Emergency contact information (phone numbers for 2 different contacts)
Insurance information
Tetanus shot records (primarily date of last shot)
If you are a returning CIA, chances are you are already in our system. From the login screen, sign in as an existing account by typing in your email address and hitting "Forgot Password." Your new, computer generated password will be emailed to you. If you experience problems loging in as an existing account, please call the camp office at 417.476.2565.
The cost of tuition is $175. There is an additional fee of $15 to cover the cost of a criminal background check that is required for everyone 18 and older. For those under the age of 18, this $15 fee will be waived from your account in the form of a discount.
In order to complete your registration, you must pay the $50 application fee with either a credit card, debit card, or an electronic check. You will be prompted to enter this information online through our secure connection. Should you choose to pay more on your account, you may do so after the registration process is complete by accessing your account at "My-Barnabas Space".
When initializing your account, you will be asked to create a code word for the account. This is not your password and should be different from the password you create. It is simply used to verify your identity when you contact Camp Barnabas for account information. Only those persons requiring account information from Camp Barnabas will need to know this code word.
Completing this application is the first step in your CIA process. Once your application is submitted it will be reviewed by the Volunteer Coordinator. You will be notified if you have been selected to serve as a CIA at Camp Barnabas. Please understand that completing the application does not automatically guarantee a position for you at Camp Barnabas. This just begins your application process.
If you are currently 18 years of age or older, you may complete this application process on your own. However, if you are currently under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will be required to complete certain areas of your application.
For parents registering minors
On the first page of the application you will be creating a family account. The questions on this page will be asking for YOUR information and not the minor's information. You will complete their information later in the process. You will be asked your "relationship" to the person registering for camp. You may choose Parent or Primary Account Holder from the list. Either of these "relationships" say that you are the legal guardian, responsible for the minor and for all payments on the account. Later in the application you will be required to sign an electronic signature on all releases (i.e. medical, media, etc.). These releases must be signed by the parent/primary account holder. All open-ended/essay questions must be completed by the minor. Please remember that this is the volunteer's application; however it is imperative that the parent/primary account holder signature be on file. If you are registering more than one individual in your family, you will complete the registration process for the first individual and will be prompted at the end to register a new individual.
For everyone 18 and older - registering themselves
On the first page of the application you will be creating your Camp Barnabas Account. Since you are registering yourself, you will choose Primary Account Holder as the "relationship" and proceed to complete your personal information. This "relationship" means that you are legally responsible for yourself, the account, and for all payments on the account. Later in the process you will select yourself as the individual who will be attending camp. If you are registering more than one individual in your family, complete the application for yourself and at the end you will be prompted to register a new individual.
