Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated her ability to balance strategic oversight with compassionate leadership, ensuring that the needs of the ministry and its people are prioritized. Her combination of business acumen and healthcare expertise makes her uniquely qualified to lead the Barnabas Foundation into its next chapter.

Bernadette has served as the Chief Operations Officer and Director of Health Services for the Barnabas Foundation since 2020. In these roles, she has overseen the foundation's operations, ensuring that every decision is aligned with what is best for the ministry, and has been responsible for all aspects of healthcare at Camp Barnabas and Barnabas Prep, including medical staff recruitment, the implementation of an electronic medical record (EMR) system, and fostering a positive culture among the med team. Additionally, she created and developed the foundation’s Human Resources Department, enhancing operational efficiency and support for employees.

Previous to the Barnabas Foundation, Bernadette served as Chief Clinic Officer at Ozarks Community Hospital from 2001 to 2020, during which time she rose through the ranks from Clinic Manager to Clinic Administrator. She oversaw 20 multi-specialty clinics, managed 300 employees, and was instrumental in the start-up of an Autism Clinic, as well as various other medical services. Her leadership in strategic planning, budget management, provider relations, and HR functions played a vital role in the growth and success of the organization. Additionally, Bernadette's oversight of quality assurance, patient satisfaction, and implementation of electronic health records (EHR) systems further highlights her commitment to operational excellence and innovation.

Beyond healthcare, Bernadette is also an experienced entrepreneur, having led Losh Network Services, a family-owned business, since 2007. Under her ownership, the business has seen consistent growth, averaging 5% annually.

Bernadette holds a Master of Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Evangel University. She is also a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), further demonstrating her strong foundation in human resource management.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Bernadette is an active member of her community, including involvement with the Springfield Chamber of Commerce and Nixa General Baptist Church. She is passionate about spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.

The Barnabas Foundation is confident that Bernadette's extensive leadership experience, commitment to quality, and passion for Campers and Students will guide our organization in continuing to serve and fulfill our mission to change lives through disability ministry.
